How it works

Our first grant challenge for the 2024-25 cycle is now live.

Priority Areas:

Sustainable livelihoods and entrepreneurship support for rural women
Access to mental healthcare for vulnerable populations

We are committed to working with exemplary community-first non-profit organisations from India to solve these pressing societal challenges, especially in the underserved regions of:

Maharashtra
Karnataka
North-Eastern states of India

We make grants primarily through relationship building with potential grantees. We accept proposals only from Indian non-profit organisations registered as trust, society, or Section-8 companies which have valid 12A, 80G, and CSR certificates.

We will be accepting applications till June 24, 2024 (11:59 p.m. IST).

While we are eager to Fund activities that make the world a happier, healthier, and more equal place:

We do not make grants or loans to individuals.
We do not make loans or investments to private businesses.
We do not fund political activities.
We do not fund religious activities or programs serving specific religious groups or denominations. However, faith-based organizations may submit grant applications if a project falls within our areas of interest.

Application requirements and review process:

The Foundation strives to be responsive to the needs of all eligible organizations.
Grant applications are accepted throughout the year.
Applicants will be notified whether their grant request has been approved within two (2) months of appplication.
