Living with depression isn’t easy but it’s possible and even tolerable. Although there are multiple treatments for the symptoms of depression, we wanted to share a few small things you could add to your everyday to help you feel better.

Get a plant. Tending to houseplants is a great way to zone into a task and also center yourself. Plus, your house looks so pretty!

Treat yourself to something you wouldn’t normally buy such as an expensive pair of track pants that make lounging at home so much comfier. Or maybe a gourmet dessert for when your day is feeling especially bleak. Just don’t make a habit out of it!

Get outside. It’s easy to say this but the answer to having a better day could be spending as little as 10 minutes outdoors. So next time you’re feeling blue, get some sun.
