The Ananya Birla Foundation promotes global understanding and provides support for programs that build a kinder, happier, equal, stigma-free world. We envision a kinder, happier, equal, stigma-free world where no conversation is taboo and all people are connected to the support they need to lead fulfilling lives.
What we do
We are experiencing the effects of climate change. And, people living in poverty are most at risk. We promote awareness climate change globally and support programs that help vulnerable communities adapt in India.
When they have greater economic access, women create benefits for themselves and others. We support programs in India that ensure women have more access to financial services, such as loans and insurance.
Globally, more children are going to school, including girls, but only one in three are learning to read. Lack of quality education keeps millions from reaching their potential. We support programs that promote access to education in India.
From floods to famine to COVID-19, humanitarian disasters occur nearly every day, leaving people in urgent need. We provide emergency funding in India to help people survive and build back better.
Suicide is a leading cause of death among young people. We provide support to organizations that raise awareness about mental health issues and provide access to quality mental health services.
A sad truth: women and girls often cannot achieve their potential simply because of their gender. We support innovative programs and campaigns that help ensure women and girls can lead more fulfilling lives.
