what we believe

Our Vision

We envision a kinder, happier, equal, stigma-free world where no conversation is taboo and all people are connected to the support they need to lead fulfilling lives.

what we live by

Our Values

We are impact-focused. We are data-driven and seek results at scale. We support both tested approaches and innovative solutions that can achieve the impact we seek. And while qualitative success is important, we are inspired by the stories of individuals whom we help.
We are collaborative. We partner with individuals and organizations to build a better world.
We are compassionate. We know how hard it is for many people to get the support and respect they need. We support you.

what we do

Our Work

Working together with individuals and partners, the Ananya Birla Foundation provides support for programs that build a kinder, happier, equal, stigma-free world. We also participate in campaigns and public engagements that promote global understanding around the issues we are passionate about.

Climate Change

We are experiencing the effects of climate change. And, people living in poverty are most at risk. We promote awareness climate change globally and support programs that help vulnerable communities adapt in India.

Financial Inclusion

When they have greater economic access, women create benefits for themselves and others. We support programs in India that ensure women have more access to financial services, such as loans and insurance.

Education

Globally, more children are going to school, including girls, but only one in three are learning to read. Lack of quality education keeps millions from reaching their potential. We support programs that promote access to education in India.

Humanitarian Relief

From floods to famine to COVID-19, humanitarian disasters occur nearly every day, leaving people in urgent need. We provide emergency funding in India to help people survive and build back better.

Mental Health

Suicide is a leading cause of death among young people. We provide support to organizations that raise awareness about mental health issues and provide access to quality mental health services.

Equality

A sad truth: women and girls often cannot achieve their potential simply because of their gender. We support innovative programs and campaigns that help ensure women and girls can lead more fulfilling lives.
